FIRST AID & CPR 2024

You may someday find yourself the first person to be in a position to help a fellow worker, a friend or family member, or perhaps a total stranger whose life is in danger. The tools you will learn in this course may help you successfully carry out that rescue.

And do not worry about doing it wrong. You won’t, because:

  • Hogan has you repeat this course yearly, and you can choose to repeat it more frequently if you desire.
  • After you dial 911, the dispatch officer (on speaker phone) will talk you through what needs to be done.
  • The State of Utah is behind you:

Utah Code 78B-4-501. Good Samaritan Law.

A person who renders emergency care at or near the scene of, or during, an emergency, gratuitously and in good faith, is not liable for any civil damages or penalties as a result of any act or omission by the person rendering the emergency care, unless the person is grossly negligent or caused the emergency.

With no further introduction, we invite you to watch each of the fourteen SHORT videos that make up this course. Take the eight quizzes. Then go back and repeat the videos as often as you desire. Being familiar with the content will help you perform that incredibly valuable rescue of a human life.
